Is There Parking?

Now there is a great deal for parking at the Standard Parking Belmont House Parking Garage on 3170 N. Sheridan.  $12.00 for ten hours of parking.  Patrons may bring their ticket stub to the Belmont House when leaving the parking garage to take advantage of this great rate.  Map Below:

In addition to street parking, there is a Park One™ garage just a few doors south of the Lakeshore Theater which charges a flat rate of $14.

What Restaurants Are Nearby? Less formal dining options near the Lakeshore include Chipotle and Chili Mac’s, while we like to direct those with more discerning palates to the delicious Wilde Restaurant and Bar located just south of our theater.

Is There An Age Limit? The Lakeshore Theater is an all ages venue. That said, not all shows are necessarily appropriate for youngsters, so we do encourage our patrons to exercise 'discretion'. (Look it up, Einstein).

What Hotels Are Nearby? Visitors to the Lakeshore Theater are encouraged to patronize the Best Western’s wonderful Hawthorne Terrace located at 3434 N. Broadway.

What Are The Box Office Hours? The Lakeshore Theater’s box office is open from 10 AM to 10 PM daily except for show days. For performances and show-times the Box Office will have extended hours. At all other times, tickets can be purchased by calling TicketWeb at 866-468-3401 or by Clicking Here.

When Do The Doors Open? This varies, but doors will generally open between 30 and 60 minutes before curtain on show days. On Friday and Saturday nights, doors will open at 6:30pm for 7:30pm shows, and at 9:30pm for 10:30pm shows.

What Is Your Seating Policy? Our seating policy is “General Admission” – which basically means first come, first served. For most shows, we have VIP seats for patrons who want to pay an additional $5 for the best seats in the house (the first 5 rows closest to stage). Keep in mind that there are all of 330 seats in the Lakeshore Theater so there is literally not a bad one in the house.

Are Cameras Allowed In The Theater? There is no unauthorized photography allowed in the Lakeshore Theater.

Will I Have To Check My Bag? The Lakeshore Theater will allow you to keep your bags, purses and coats with you at all times, but will check them upon entry for any outside food or beverage (which you can pick up at the box office post-show).

Is Outside Food & Drink Allowed? Again, no. But the Lakeshore has a full bar and popcorn to keep you satiated.

Is There A Dress Code? The Lakeshore Theater reminds you to keep your nether regions covered at all times.

Is There A Drink Minimum? The Lakeshore Theater has a strict “Drink What You Want” policy and firmly believes that There Is Nothing Funny About A Two Drink Minimum.
